Outplacements
Our suite of outplacement services are tailored to the needs of their clients and include both individual and group options:
- Résumés – professionally written and designed to market an individual’s strengths, achievements and personal qualities to prospective employers
- Cover Letters – to address particular job advertisements or standard cover letters that can be adapted to various applications
- Interview Coaching – in-depth discussions on interview preparation, including a detailed booklet with exercises to assist in identifying and responding to likely questions, a mock interview along with feedback on performance and suggestions for improvements
- Selection Criteria – working with individuals to write / respond to Selection Criteria applicable to most Government and some community and private sector positions
- Career Development – career development discussions, job hunting tools / advice, and job application assistance
- Workshops – for groups on redundancy, the process of outplacement, the job search process, résumés, cover letters, interview skills, etc.
As a demonstration of our skills in this area, we were recently engaged by Procter & Gamble to assist in the outplacement of 70 staff (production workers through to senior management) for a manufacturing facility being relocated overseas.
