About Us
Career Support Professionals is a privately owned business based in Sydney, Australia. We have an innovative organisational structure with only a small corporate staff and a network of specialist career professionals.
The business was founded by Julie and Michael Gee.
Julie Gee B.A. Grad. Cert. Careers Education & Development
Julie brings a broad range of experience to Career Support Professionals - during her career she has worked in writing, marketing, research and project management roles in universities, state government departments, small and large businesses, the not-for-profit community sector, and as an independent consultant.
Julie offers expertise in career development counselling, writing resumes, interview coaching and providing HR support services. She is a qualified Careers Counsellor (RMIT University) and is a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia. In addition, Julie has recently been appointed to the Committee of the CDAA (NSW Division).
Julie also has an in-depth knowledge of addressing selection criteria and the interview process of the public service and community sectors, gained over 9 years working in state government and 2 years with a not-for-profit organisation.
Michael Gee B. Bus. (Bus. Mgt. & Acct.)
With 15 years experience in senior management in listed companies and as an Executive Director with smaller proprietary firms, Michael has extensive experience in recruitment, HR, and contemporary business operations.
In addition Michael has a broad range of qualifications from being a licensed plumber through to a degree in Business Management and Accounting. An experienced trainer, presenter and public speaker, Michael is currently completing a qualification in Training and Assessment.
He offers extensive expertise in interview coaching, resume writing, recruitment selection, creating staff development plans and general HR support services.
